卓球ニッポン！

このところ12チャンネルの卓球・世界選手権に見入っていた。 卓球は、ＰＩＮＧ ＰＯＮＧと言うといかにも温泉の風呂上りの余興だけれど、Ｔａｂｌｅ Tenis と言うと、なるほどなと思う。 あの小さな台をはさんで、１５０Ｋｍを超えるスマッシュのやり取りだ。ラリーは本当に見ごたえがある。神業と思ってしまう。 反射神経と瞬発力と持久力、そして一瞬の判断力と大きな戦略性・・・見れば見るほど、これはすごい競技だと、改めて感じる。（まあどの競技もプロの世界はそうなんだけれど・・・） 平野と福原の、シングルス早々の敗退はちょっと残念だったけれど、それ以上に新しい若い選手達の躍進に元気付けられた。 男子では松平健太18歳、丹羽孝希14歳、女子では石川佳純16歳と、十代の有望選手が続々だ。 さすがに中国の壁は厚く、宿敵？韓国もここでも強いが、ニッポンも全く歯が立たないと言う負け方ではない。こうした若い選手の台頭を見ていると・・・いつかは？と言う期待を抱かせてくれる。 頑張れ日本の卓球！ と、テレビでの応援を終わって何気にＴＶをつけていたら、今度はあの松岡修造が、目を吊り上げて檄を飛ばし、子どもたちを叱咤しているシーンに出くわした。ＳＨＵＺＯ ＣＨＡＲＥＮＧＥ、松岡修造主宰の 少年テニス英才教育塾 の様子だった。 僕にとっての松岡は、現役時代は最後の方でちょっと頑張ったけど残念だった男子選手・・・だったのだけれど、その後のＴＶでの様子を見ていてすっかり大好きになってしまった人だ。聞けば、本当に裏表の無い好人物だと言う。あの熱さと、どことない育ちのよさのようなところが憎めない。（比べては悪いが、鼻につく森田健作の熱さとは好対照だ） その松岡が、年端も行かない（12歳の）小学生を相手に、厳しく怒鳴り飛ばしている様子を見て、正直最初は驚いた。じっと見ていると判ってきた。「君らは大変な道を自分で選んだ・・・世界に通じる強さに向かえ」と、渾身の思いをぶつけて向き合っているのだ。 昨日のテレビでは、その塾から、全日本小学選手権で１位と2位になった少年が2人、あの盛田ファンドでアメリカ留学に旅立った。あの、錦織やシャラポア達も育った世界一のテニススクールだ。

画像はリアルでいいのですが、リモコンでコントールするのがやりにくい。私が下手なだけかもしれませんが・・・

Wiiの卓球のゲームで『ロックスターゲームスプレゼンツ テーブルテニス』というものがあるらしいのですが、このゲームの公式サイトは開設されていますか？
